A Welcome Note from the Editor-in-Chief of BRAG!
Dear BRAG-Worthy Influencer,
It is my pleasure to have you here visiting the magazine. I believe that anyone who has the power to create impact and motivate others to take "inspired action" deserves to be celebrated, and has earned the right to BRAG.Four strenuous years of trying to figure out where exactly I was going with this vision - I am glad the dream is still alive and we are ready for a complete takeover. But first, let's celebrate the DREAM.
To start, let me say that I never thought as an actress that I would one day publish a magazine - what for? Especially after being on the other side, gracing covers and being featured + interviewed in many magazines.
I dare say I struggled with deciding whether to keep this vision going, mostly because I wanted to be fully involved in the design, vetting and creation process of BRAG (especially with my busy schedule at The BRAG Media Group).
But with so much overwhelming content and information online (many of which would typically expire within days or from issue to issue), it was becoming increasingly difficult to find straightforward, practical and actionable information, that aspiring goal-getters and emerging creatives can use to thrive and earn their own bragging rights.
I also realised that after all the hard work we put into accomplishing our personal, business or career goals, many of us find it difficult to CELEBRATE and honour ourselves for a job well done. In fact, society has conditioned us to be ashamed of honouring our awesomeness and brilliance.
Hence, the birth of this baby - BRAG! - an online magazine and annual print for influencers, published each year with a monthly cover theme and an annual (B)old Print Issue — celebrating top experts, influencers, innovators, business owners and creators from around the world who are (B)oldly (R)adically (A)chieving (G)oals and creating amazing impact, that will give you too, the license to BRAG.The goal of BRAG! is to CELEBRATE brilliance, wisdom, strategies, insights, tools, products and the amazing individuals creating them and using them to earn their BRAGGING RIGHTS.
I really believe - that no matter whether a magazine is delivered to your doorstep or to your computer, printed on glossy stock or on cheap tabloid paper, appearing on your iPad or your cell-phone screen, it is still and foremost the work of an editorial team to create a beautiful and meaningful—package of ideas, words and images for YOU. And I am excited about the vision, my BRAG team and our amazing VIP contributors.
As a writer myself, an avid reader, and all-around creative - I'm so excited about this baby, because - I know that no matter what monthly issue of BRAG! you read, or what year the article was published, the information inside will ALWAYS stay relevant and valuable to you.It is with that confidence that I invite you to join us on this amazing journey to create more impact in the world.
